Which version am I using?

Find the version and build in Settings → About Humanizer AI. Version 1.1 uses online AI rewriting and detection. The original public 1.0 build 3 used on-device writing and a local style checker; its behavior differs from the guidance below.

Is Humanizer AI free?

Humanizer AI is 100% Free, with no subscriptions, in-app purchases or account required. Service capacity and text limits apply.

A rewrite or scan will not start

Connect to the internet and enter at least 40 words of English prose. Humanize accepts up to 5,000 characters; the AI detector accepts up to 7,500. Tap Sample to try a ready-made passage. Use Freeze for details and phrases you want to preserve.

A rewrite takes too long

The progress banner updates as the service prepares and checks your rewrite. Longer passages or a busy service can take more time. Cancel returns you to editing. It cannot undo text already submitted for processing. If the service is busy or times out, your original draft stays available; try again later.

What the AI detector score means

The detector shows an AI signal on a 0–100 scale, including sentence scores where available. It is an estimate, not proof of authorship or a calibrated probability. Human writing can score high and AI writing can score low. Compare the actual text as well as its score. Results from other detectors may differ.

Why the same text usually shows the same score

The service reuses a stored score for an identical detector request while that result remains in its bounded cache. Old results are removed in insertion order. A later scan after removal or a detector update can differ.

Find or remove saved writing

Open Library to search, reuse, favorite or delete individual rewrites. In Settings, Delete all writing data clears your saved writing, current editor, result and protected phrases. Turn off autosave or future history saving separately. Check for a storage warning if a change cannot be saved.

Privacy

Text is submitted through our server on Railway to OpenAI only when you use Humanize or Analyze. Typing, autosave and browsing your library do not upload writing. Usage analytics and Apple Ads attribution are separate and contain no writing. Read the Privacy page for providers, retention and controls.
